Update regarding testing at our High Wycombe site

Following a recent change in the ownership of the High Wycombe site and our new landlord’s intention to redevelop the premises currently occupied by Element Materials Technology, our testing services from this site will be relocated to our state-of-the-art facility at Birchwood Park in Warrington.

Our Birchwood Park laboratory offers extensive capacity and some of the most advanced fire testing capabilities in Europe. Facilities include two wall furnaces, two floor furnaces, an indicative furnace for smaller-scale testing, 18 highly equipped wall preparation bays with confidentiality screening if required, auto-fed shot blasting and spray booths, curing areas, and areas dedicated for client viewing and meetings. More recently, we invested in a smoke leakage test rig which enables the testing for smoke and fire resistance in one build, enhancing the efficiency of testing programmes.

Testing at our High Wycombe site will end on 3 July 2026. Our technical and certification team and assessment centre will be relocated. We will confirm these details with customers as soon as they are available.
