Peter is a Technical Manager working for many years in the field of passive fire protection, specializing in leading and supporting engineers producing engineering assessments of fire resisting construction products.
Peter is an active member of various committees within BSI and CEN, helping to develop national and international standards and codes of practice.
He has also provided training, engineering assessments and site inspection of fire resisting elements of construction across a diverse range of industry sectors including transport, nuclear, education, healthcare, heritage and defense since 2006.
Peter is the co-author of BM TRADA’s newly updated book, Getting started with Fire protection: your responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRFSO) 2nd edition. A copy of the book can be ordered here
