Customer Communications

On 29 June, 2017, Exova was acquired by Element Materials Technology. Since that date, the two companies have been working together to integrate our businesses, in a manner which enables us to invest and grow the market leading brands that are recognized and accepted globally by both our customers and by controlling authorities and specifiers. As we approach the end of the integration process, we have some important news to share with you.

Element’s newly combined business makes us the recognized leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification Services to a diverse range of industry sectors where failure in service is not an option. With 6,700 engaged experts, operating from almost 200 locations in over 30 countries, you now have access to increased capacity, capability and expertise for all of your existing and future materials testing, product qualification testing, calibration, certification and consulting needs.

CHANGES TO OUR BRAND NAME AND LEGAL ENTITY
From 1 December 2018, Exova Warringtonfire’s Fire & Building Products business will be fully integrated into Element. This will mean that the Exova name will be retired in this sector. In addition, we are taking the opportunity to simplify our brand to Warringtonfire and create sector specific legal entities.

A simple, focused brand in conjunction with Element’s global brand strength will provide a clear focus on meeting our customers’ requirements, prepare us for further growth and strengthen our position as a leading provider of Testing, Inspection and Certification / Consultancy services.

It also ensures that you can continue to benefit from the investment you have made over many years in using our brand names, to help support your business.

Details of the new brand name that the business will trade under are outlined in Appendix A:

CHANGES TO OUR BRAND VISUAL IDENTITY
The rebranding of the Exova business means that from 1 December 2018 you will start to see the following changes:

  • Documentation (electronic and print) issued by the company will display the new branding
  • Our offices and test laboratories will be displaying new signage

In order to fully benefit from our association with Element, we will be updating our brand logo.
