Celebrating our colleagues shortlisted in the Women in Fire Safety Awards

Warringtonfire, part of Element Materials Technology, is pleased to announce that Kristie Sullivan and Jennifer Whalley TIFireE have been shortlisted for the Women in Fire Safety Awards 2026, recognising their contributions to the fire safety industry.

Kristie has been shortlisted in the Excellence Award (Fire Consultant) category, while Jennifer has been shortlisted for the Excellence Award (Business) category.

The Women in Fire Safety Awards celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of exceptional women working across the fire safety industry.

Kristie Sullivan is a Product Assessor within Warringtonfire's Technical department, assessing fire resistance products and managing certification through schemes including CERTIFIRE and CE Marking. Drawing on experience across fire testing, laboratory operations and certification, Kristie provides technical assessment, compliance review and client support, helping clients navigate certification requirements and demonstrate product performance.

Jennifer Whalley TIFireE is Testing Manager Firestopping at Warringtonfire, where she leads a team of Technical Officers, oversees accredited fire testing and reporting, and works closely with clients to deliver reliable fire performance evidence. Through her leadership, technical knowledge and commitment to developing others, Jennifer has helped deliver trusted fire performance evidence, strengthen professional standards and contribute to safer buildings.

The shortlisting’s recognise the expertise, dedication and professionalism that both Jennifer and Kristie bring to their roles, as well as their ongoing contribution to the fire safety sector.
