Adam is the laboratory manager for our fire resistance sector within Warringtonfire. Based at our High Wycombe site, he’s responsible for the day-to day operations of the UKAS accredited facilities.

Adam joined Warringtonfire in May 2012 and has been laboratory manager since 2019. Prior to this he worked in the construction industry for almost 10 years, including within project management roles. His knowledge of building techniques and industry demands helps him understand the needs of clients.

He began his career at Warringtonfire as a test technician, before being promoted to project manager, then again to laboratory manager within fire resistance. In 2022 he oversaw the operations during the laboratory marking its 50th anniversary year.

Adam views every test as a collaboration between the client and his team of project managers and test technicians. From the start of the testing process the team works closely with clients to achieve their goals, and seeing this collaboration is very rewarding for Adam. The fire resistance team work alongside their technical and certification colleagues with the aim of delivering the most technically robust report possible.

To achieve this, Adam’s team are always developing their processes and methods for collating information. Moving forward the team plan to continually adapt to industry demands to best support clients who utilise the fire resistance laboratory at High Wycombe.
