Warringtonfire offers UKAS accredited certification from its Warrington office and is able to provide certification schemes for products and personnel.
As well as certification schemes, our engaged experts can also undertake site inspections, which can be used by regulators, enforcement authorities, contractors, owners, managers and users.
This service provides confidence that the fire protection measures will perform as anticipated in the event of a fire.
Warringtonfire offers services related to installed fire protection, for both passive (fire stopping systems) and active (sprinkler systems).
Warringtonfire certification is accredited to BS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 for inspection services of installed fire protection by UKAS.
We are subject to external independent verification of our methods/procedures/processes for our services and we operate independently of any commercial influence in all inspection assignments we conduct.
What are site inspections?
We can undertake site inspection assignments in existing premises and on live construction projects to satisfy a variety of client requests.
These assignments may be purely a one day "sampling" inspection, a longer-term assignment, and possibly continuous inspection activities on a building/series of building sites, possibly over several weeks.
We also can arrange a program of visits to a construction site project to verify on-going compliance of installed fire protection with project specification as the project progresses.
Our services include:
- Structural steel protection
- Compartmentation (including fire stopping/partition systems/cavity barriers)
- Fire doorsets (timber/steel/composite/rolling shutter)
- Glazed fire screens
- Fire rated ducting systems and fire dampers
- Multilayer paint inspection
- Residential and domestic sprinkler systems
- Commercial and industrial sprinkler systems
